“11Onze touches our hearts”
Promoter Carles Juanico has been committed to 11Onze from day one. “I want to be treated like a person“, he said at the start. Now that El Canut can be downloaded on Android and Apple, he does not hesitate in finding two great virtues: ethics and innovation.
Juanico, a real estate consultant at IAD, participated, like many other promoters, in the testing of El Canut, 11Onze’s super app, and values “its ease of use and the fact that it is very swift and intuitive”. For him, everything that is digital innovation is a step forward that every financial institution should take, because it allows them to offer a better service and immediate attention. And, according to him, 11Onze brings it all together, as well as the desire to capture the Catalan spirit for business.
“11Onze is the entity that defends our ideas and our interests as a people. We are in the hands of people who only think, to put it bluntly, about getting our hard-earned money. And we needed a project to boost our morale, to help us continue the fight differently“, says Juanico. The promoter admits that, when he heard about the 11Onze initiative, “an instinct of rebellion” awoke in him. Rebelliousness to do things differently. Rebelliousness to build as a community.
Trust in the community
“11Onze brings novelty, fresh ideas. And, in a world that is not very ethical, it brings ethics. I have a lot of confidence in 11Onze, in the fact that the people are the reference points, in the fact that there are no ruling classes that control the economy, but that the economy belongs to the ordinary people. What’s more, 11Onze is an encouraging project, it touches our hearts a little”, Juanico confesses.
This real estate advisor considers that traditional banking is in a “terrible phase”, in which you can no longer trust whoever is looking after you. In this sense, according to him, 11Onze is an alternative. At the core, says Juanico, is the community, which makes ethics possible. “The more of us there are, the easier it is for us to defend our rights as customers. If not, we are left in the hands of a few,” he says.
The immediacy of technology
The other value, for him, is the potential of using an application like El Canut, a wallet of wallets that is available to anyone at the click of a button. “Day-to-day life is about calls, whatsapps, and a mobile phone is like a small computer. Not having to make an appointment to be seen is a joke. The advantages of an application like 11Onze are staggering,” he says.
In fact, the team of 11Onze agents offers constant attention, and this, according to Juanico, “helps a lot. “11Onze has all the information about your finances, so not only do you have a single manager, but you can also be attended to, immediately, by any other agent. We have become accustomed to having everything on the spot, and this service meets this need,” he argues.
Juanico, who visited the stand that 11Onze set up at the Palo Market Fest, the travelling culture, leisure, and design festival in Barcelona, also appreciates the fact that 11Onze wants to be the financial institution for Generation Z. “At Palo Alto, I saw among the young people a great desire to socialise, to make businesses prosper. And I, who come from a world of small business entrepreneurs, can assure you that we need a bank by our side, that supports us with a quality, immediate and technological service“, he concludes.
