At 11Onze we have been suffering it for some time, and now nobody is safe. Banks pursue those who challenge the elites and attack them with the power they have to turn you into a pariah. Not even members of the International Criminal Court escape when the banking system condemns them. How will you protect yourself?<\/b><\/h3>\n

 <\/p>\n

Speaking out against injustice once seemed like a moral obligation. Society was supposed to progress by embracing values that would make us better as individuals and as a community. But the truth is that the world does not work like that. The reality is that, <\/span>if you dare to challenge the real big players, the banking system will make sure you become a nobody. An isolated person<\/b>. Without bank accounts. Unable to pay by card. Unable to travel. Cut off from all the digital services you use every day. This practice of isolation, this financial death while still alive, is known as <\/span>debanking<\/b>, and anyone can become its victim.<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

The cases of the International Criminal Court<\/b><\/h3>\n

Few international institutions have dared to denounce the war crimes committed by Israel and the United States. The International Criminal Court (ICC) provides several examples.<\/span><\/p>\n

Karim Khan<\/b><\/a>, the Court’s former Chief Prosecutor, dared to seek arrest warrants for Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and his Defence Minister over alleged war crimes committed in Gaza. <\/span>The result? His bank accounts were blocked to the point that he could no longer transfer child support payments to his former wife. The restrictions went even further, extending to members of his own family<\/b>.<\/span><\/p>\n

The same happened to <\/span>Reine Alapini-Gansou<\/b>, a judge of the Pre-Trial Chamber responsible for authorising arrest warrants related to the events in Gaza.<\/span><\/p>\n

And also to <\/span>Kimberly Prost<\/b>, for authorising the investigation into abuses committed by American soldiers in Afghanistan: her HSBC accounts were immediately frozen.<\/span><\/p>\n

The list of ICC members subjected to pressure by a banking system serving those in power is long. But debanking has gone much further<\/b>. <\/span>It can happen to anyone<\/b>.<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

The Canary UK and 11Onze<\/b><\/h3>\n

The independent media outlet <\/span>The Canary<\/b><\/a> has seen <\/span>Lloyds Bank block its funds after more than ten years as a customer, withholding its money without providing any explanation<\/b>. The publication is well known for its strongly anti-Zionist editorial stance.<\/span><\/p>\n

11Onze has experienced repeated fund freezes and constant debanking by the Spanish banking sector, accompanied by strong international pressure. Within the organisation, we knew this could happen, and we were prepared to face it and move forward<\/b>. But there is no denying that these measures have slowed the project down.<\/span><\/p>\n

We remain strong and determined. However, we cannot move forward as quickly as we had planned.<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

The Banking Sector Has Chosen a Side<\/b><\/h3>\n

The banking sector has chosen a side. <\/span>Money is being used as a weapon against ordinary people<\/b>. In doing so, the industry <\/span>betrays its very reason for existing<\/b>: managing an essential asset that belongs to citizens who work honestly and simply try to build the best life they can. But that is no longer profitable. <\/span>Greed has led banks to side with power<\/b>. With those who can impose their will through force, crushing dissent. They have chosen the side of speculation. Of pain. Of immorality. Of evil.<\/span><\/p>\n

The present belongs to debanking, and at <\/span>11Onze we have spent years warning about the helplessness of individuals in the face of the repressive machinery that private banking has chosen to become<\/b>. We have experienced it with <\/span>Banco Sabadell<\/span><\/a>, <\/span>Caixa d’Enginyers<\/span><\/a>, <\/span>Weavr<\/span><\/a>, and <\/span>several others<\/span><\/a>. But in the not-too-distant future, the banking industry will discover that it has made a serious miscalculation. Because at no point in history have societies tolerated injustice forever. <\/span>Sooner or later, people organise themselves, find alternatives, settle accounts and restore balance. We will be here, helping to build collective solutions to the abuses of the banking system<\/b>.<\/span><\/p>\n\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n
