Encara que generalment es percep com una opci\u00f3 conservadora per reduir el risc de les nostres inversions i que la seva funci\u00f3 principal \u00e9s la de dip\u00f2sit de valor, un <\/span>informe<\/span><\/a> elaborat pel Consell Mundial de l\u2019Or (WGC) conclou que<\/span> les an\u00e0lisis tradicionals dels rendiments de l’or deixen de banda alguns factors importants<\/b> que revelen una rendibilitat a llarg termini millor del que se sol pensar.<\/span><\/p>\n

Segons el WGC, existeixen marcs per a estimar la rendibilitat de l’or a llarg termini, per\u00f2<\/span> manquen d’un enfocament s\u00f2lid que s’ajusti a les hip\u00f2tesis del mercat de capitals<\/b> per a altres classes d’actius<\/b>. Aquestes estimacions estan estretament correlacionades amb el nivell general de preus mesurat per l’\u00edndex de preus de consum (IPC). D’acord amb aquesta premissa, la rendibilitat esperada de l’or a llarg termini sol oscil\u00b7lar entre el 0% i l’1%.<\/span><\/p>\n

No obstant aix\u00f2, l’an\u00e0lisi feta per l\u2019organisme conclou que, si b\u00e9 els estudis existents s\u00f3n rics en informaci\u00f3, amb freq\u00fc\u00e8ncia es basen en dues pautes que, en la seva opini\u00f3, \u201c<\/span>caracteritzen err\u00f2niament a l’or i han portat a conclusions esbiaixades<\/b>\u201d.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

El Patr\u00f3 Or i la inversi\u00f3 financera<\/b><\/h3>\n

Per comen\u00e7ar, gaireb\u00e9 tots els models utilitzen dades de per\u00edodes amb patr\u00f3 or. Tot i que el Consell Mundial de l’Or accepta que per norma general \u00e9s millor tenir tantes dades hist\u00f2riques com sigui possible, en analitzar els preus de l’or, la cronologia m\u00e9s llarga <\/span>esbiaixa les dades perqu\u00e8 durant la major part del segle XX el preu de l’or el fixaven els bancs centrals<\/b>.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cEncara que el seu rendiment hist\u00f2ric durant els per\u00edodes del Patr\u00f3 Or \u00e9s una refer\u00e8ncia interessant, <\/span>el m\u00e9s important \u00e9s la seva estructura de mercat i el seu comportament despr\u00e9s de 1971<\/b>\u201d. Per tant, a fi d\u2019evitar aquest biaix, l\u2019organisme utilitza dades a partir del 1971 per fer la seva an\u00e0lisi.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

L\u2019altre factor que pot provocar que l’an\u00e0lisi del comportament a llarg termini de l’or sigui poc fiable \u00e9s que els models solen assumir que la inversi\u00f3 financera impulsa gaireb\u00e9 exclusivament la demanda, ignorant altres factors importants d’aquesta. Segons l\u2019estudi,<\/span> la inversi\u00f3 financera representa un percentatge relativament petit de la demanda en relaci\u00f3 amb les reserves d’or existents<\/b>, mentre que altres fonts s\u00f3n m\u00e9s importants a llarg termini.<\/span><\/p>\n

En conclusi\u00f3, fent servir aquest model revisat que proposa el Consell Mundial de l’Or,<\/span> la rendibilitat de l’or ha estat molt millor en els \u00faltims cinquanta anys del que suggereixen les an\u00e0lisis convencionals<\/b>, amb una mitjana anual del 8%. El mateix model preveu una rendibilitat mitjana anual del 5,2% durant els pr\u00f2xims quinze anys.<\/span><\/p>\n
