L’\u00faltima edici\u00f3 de Statistical Review of World Energy 2024 fa una an\u00e0lisi exhaustiva de l’estat actual del sector energ\u00e8tic global, proporcionant dades clau sobre la producci\u00f3, el consum i les emissions, aix\u00ed com del progr\u00e9s en la transici\u00f3 energ\u00e8tica cap a un model m\u00e9s sostenible.<\/b><\/h3>\n

 <\/p>\n

2023 va ser l’any m\u00e9s c\u00e0lid des que es tenen registres i l\u2019impacte del canvi clim\u00e0tic es va deixar notar en tots els continents. L\u2019\u00faltim <\/span>Informe<\/span><\/a> de Riscos Globals 2024 del F\u00f2rum Econ\u00f2mic Mundial constata que els<\/span> esdeveniments meteorol\u00f2gics extrems, la p\u00e8rdua de biodiversitat, el col\u00b7lapse dels ecosistemes i l\u2019escassetat de recursos naturals<\/b> suposen el risc m\u00e9s gran per la humanitat durant la pr\u00f2xima d\u00e8cada. La causa principal \u00e9s la crema de combustibles f\u00f2ssils, que ha anat augmentant a mesura que ho ha fet la poblaci\u00f3 humana.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

En aquest context, l\u2019Statistical Review of World Energy 2024 \u00e9s un <\/span>informe<\/span><\/a> elaborat per l’Energy Institute que ofereix una visi\u00f3 detallada de la producci\u00f3 i el consum mundial d\u2019hidrocarburs i d\u2019energies renovables, aix\u00ed com de les emissions de di\u00f2xid de carboni i sobre el progr\u00e9s en la <\/span>transici\u00f3 cap a un model energ\u00e8tic menys depenent dels combustibles f\u00f2ssils<\/b>, impulsat per una explotaci\u00f3 cada vegada m\u00e9s competitiva de l\u2019energia e\u00f2lica i solar.<\/span><\/p>\n

L’an\u00e0lisi feta per l\u2019Energy Institute confirma que el consum mundial d’energia prim\u00e0ria durant el 2023 va augmentar un 2% respecte a l’any anterior, assolint un nou r\u00e8cord per segon any consecutiu, amb els pa\u00efsos no pertanyents a l’OCDE dominant tant la quota com les taxes de creixement anual. Es van observar <\/span>m\u00e0xims hist\u00f2rics en el consum de combustibles f\u00f2ssils i emissions<\/b>, per\u00f2 tamb\u00e9 en la generaci\u00f3 d’energies renovables.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Aquest augment del consum energ\u00e8tic <\/span>reflecteix l\u2019expansi\u00f3 econ\u00f2mica, especialment en regions en vies de desenvolupament com l’\u00c0sia,<\/b> on pa\u00efsos com la Xina i l’\u00cdndia continuen depenent dels combustibles f\u00f2ssils, que continuen sent la base del seu desenvolupament per alimentar el creixement industrial.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

L\u2019increment del consum energ\u00e8tic va venir acompanyat d’<\/span>un augment del 2,1% en les emissions de di\u00f2xid de carboni<\/b>, superant per primera vegada els 40.000 milions de tones m\u00e8triques de CO\u2082. La crema en torxa i els processos industrials van ser els principals causants de l\u2019augment r\u00e8cord d\u2019emissions.<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

L\u2019impuls de les renovables<\/b><\/h3>\n

La bona not\u00edcia \u00e9s que <\/span>les energies renovables van cr\u00e9ixer a un ritme sis vegades superior al de l’energia prim\u00e0ria total<\/b>, representant el 14,6% del consum total. Aix\u00f2 no obstant, els combustibles f\u00f2ssils continuen dominant, constituint el 81,5% del consum d’energia prim\u00e0ria.<\/span><\/p>\n

La producci\u00f3 d’electricitat va cr\u00e9ixer un 2,5%, amb una contribuci\u00f3 de les energies renovables al 30% de la producci\u00f3 total. <\/span>L’energia e\u00f2lica i solar van representar el 74% de tota la nova capacitat de generaci\u00f3 el\u00e8ctrica instal\u00b7lada<\/b>, experimentant un creixement sense precedents gr\u00e0cies a les importants addicions des de la Xina i Europa. En l’\u00e0mbit regional, l\u2019Am\u00e8rica Central i del Sud van registrar la contribuci\u00f3 m\u00e9s gran al creixement d\u2019energies renovables, amb un 72%.<\/span><\/p>\n

Amb m\u00e9s de 115 GW, les noves instal\u00b7lacions de producci\u00f3 d\u2019energia e\u00f2lica van protagonitzar un any r\u00e8cord. Gaireb\u00e9 <\/span>el 66% d\u2019aquesta nova capacitat afegida correspon a la Xina, que equival a la de Nord-am\u00e8rica i Europa juntes<\/b>, tot i que Europa t\u00e9 la proporci\u00f3 m\u00e9s gran d’energia e\u00f2lica marina (12%). Quant a l’energia solar, va representar el 75% (346 GW) de la capacitat afegida, sent la Xina responsable del voltant d’una quarta part del creixement.<\/span><\/p>\n

Tot i aix\u00f2, l\u2019informe conclou que, si es volen complir els objectius clim\u00e0tics i reduir les emissions de carboni, <\/span>cal accelerar la transici\u00f3 cap a fonts d’energia m\u00e9s netes<\/b>, al mateix temps que reconeix la diversitat de reptes en les diferents regions, reconeixent els marcats contrastos entre els hemisferis nord i sud.<\/span><\/p>\n
