The report is the result of two years of work and aims to ensure that European citizens have all the tools they need to manage their money. 11Onze is the first financial institution based on financial literacy in its community.<\/b><\/h3>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Financial literacy refers to <\/span><b>a combination of critical thinking, knowledge, personal skills and habits<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> that enable us to make the right decisions for individual and collective financial well-being. It is with this objective in mind that the European Commission and the OECD\u2019s International Financial Education Network have promoted this <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/ec.europa.eu\/info\/publications\/220111-financial-competence-framework_es\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">framework<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, which is not only a comprehensive curriculum, but also a conceptual basis on which to build the financial policies of Europe\u2019s nations.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">As such, the report provides a set of competencies to support <\/span><b>the development, implementation and updating of national financial education strategies; to promote financial education programmes<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> and the development of teaching materials; and<\/span><b> to reduce the exclusion<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> that leaves behind the most vulnerable citizens, such as the elderly, young people, migrants and women.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>11Onze has been at the forefront of creating financial education materials<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, and now the European framework adds new useful work streams to continue creating content. Specifically, the framework provides tools for understanding the world of finance based on four main thematic areas:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><b>Financial transactions<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, i.e. everything to do with money and currency; income; prices, purchases and payments; and financial records and contracts.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><b>Home economics<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, i.e. all those skills that enable us to manage in the short and long term, such as saving, investing, managing income through budgeting and planning.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><b>Risks and rewards<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, i.e. financial security, insurance, risk assessment and financial products.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><b>Financial ecosystem<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, or all those skills related to consumer protection, financial advice, public spending, taxation and the characteristics of the global financial ecosystem.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3><b>Financial literacy, the main pillar of 11Onze<\/b><\/h3>\n<p><b>Financial literacy is precisely the main pillar underpinning La Pla\u00e7a of 11Onze<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, a pioneering digital platform that brings together an active community of more than 10,000 people. La Pla\u00e7a is the agora for building financial sovereignty. For this reason, it promotes content about the world of finance, from less to more in-depth. This is how <\/span><b>the <\/b><a href=\"https:\/\/www.11onze.cat\/en\/magazine\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><b>Magazine<\/b><\/a><b> is updated daily, with special sections such as <\/b><a href=\"https:\/\/www.11onze.cat\/en\/magazine\/?t=11check\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><b>11Onze Check<\/b><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> for the verification of information, and pills prepared by our agents are published.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">With the same purpose in mind,<\/span><b> the lessons in the <\/b><a href=\"https:\/\/www.11onze.cat\/aprendre\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><b>Learn<\/b><\/a><b> section are promoted<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, such as the documentary series <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.11onze.cat\/learn\/serie-el-diner\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u2018El Diner\u2019<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> and <\/span><a href=\"\/?course_category=cursos\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">courses<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> on the collaborative economy, fish markets, basic income and oligopolies, among others. In the same way, <\/span><b>11Onze promotes more careful productions through <\/b><a href=\"https:\/\/www.11onze.cat\/en\/11onze-tv\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><b>11Onze TV<\/b><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, such as the documentary <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.11onze.cat\/en\/11onze-tv\/documentaries\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u2018L\u2019Academy\u2019<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> or the <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.11onze.cat\/en\/11onze-tv\/podcast\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">podcasts<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> Pasta Z, Bank Abuse and People, always with the economy and money management as the thematic axis.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">In addition, the fincom has opened up a new area for the dissemination of financial content through Fintech Talks and the \u201811Onze School\u2019 project. <\/span><b>The <\/b><a href=\"https:\/\/www.11onze.cat\/en\/magazine\/fintech-talks-explain-cryptocurrencies\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><b>Fintech Talks<\/b><\/a><b> are a meeting point on financial innovation for all audiences<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> and, especially, for entrepreneurs, startups and companies, organised in collaboration with Monday, a network of coworking spaces in Spain. <\/span><b>And <\/b><a href=\"https:\/\/www.11onze.cat\/en\/magazine\/financial-education-launch-11onze-school\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><b>\u201811Onze School\u2019<\/b><\/a><b> offers training sessions on the world of fintech<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> in educational centres, companies and professional associations.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><b>11Onze is the fintech community of Catalonia.
