Has a telephone company operator woken you up at ungodly hours to ask you if you wanted a service you didn\u2019t ask for? Do you receive commercial calls day in and day out? More and more people are joining the Robinson List to claim their right to privacy.<\/b><\/h3>\n

If you\u2019ve run out of patience and can\u2019t take any more harassing phone calls, it\u2019s time to join the Robinson List. You may not be able to avoid all the calls, but you will certainly reduce the volume. <\/span>It is a free service and many countries have already created their own list<\/b>. In the case of Spain, it is managed by the Asociaci\u00f3n Espa\u00f1ola de Econom\u00eda Digital [Spanish Association of Digital Economy].\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Through its <\/span>website<\/span><\/a>, the organisation asks you to fill in a form, where you have to specify your personal and contact details and a password so that you can access your account. Once you are logged in, <\/span>you can choose which telephone numbers, e-mail addresses or postal addresses you want to stop receiving commercial information from<\/b>. In addition, there is a list of economic sectors to choose which type of company you are willing to receive advertising from; and which type you are not.
